to assisting persons and organizations that provide human development
and enrichment services. The Iowa Non Profit Association
(INPA), Kansas
Non Profit
Association
(KNPA),
Missouri Non Profit Association (MNPA) and the Nebraska Non Profit
Association (NNPA) are operated exclusively by Mainstream, Inc.
Committed
to ethical and effective performance in all aspects of work, Mainstream
provides quality service
and develops creative approaches to project management and consultation
in the areas of fund raising, grant writing, and board development.
Mainstream,
Inc., is an innovative, supportive organization that strives
to serve a broad range of nonprofit organizations; is a source of
expertise
and information; assists agencies to be more accountable, credible,
and effective; and demonstrates capacity-building in the provision
of services to others.
Core
Services
- Training
Mainstream,
Inc., has provided more than 2,300 training opportunities for
both public and private agencies since beginning business in 1987. Training
topics are selected specifically for nonprofit managers and board
members, and human service professionals. Workshops and
conferences are evaluated by participants to maintain quality
service.
- Writing,
Research, and Publication Services
Grant
writing and foundation searches, resource directories, brochures,
newsletters, operations manuals, and pamphlets, can be researched
and written for organizations.
- Management
Support Services and Consultation
Mainstream
consultants have assisted private agencies, as well
as foundations, to develop and implement plans for new programs,
and to enhance existing
programs. Consultation
is offered in agency management, funds development,
and to assist in provision of direct service. Strategic
planning sessions, agency financial planning, and
board retreats are facilitated by Mainstream.
Mainstream,
Inc., also monitors programs, assists with program and fiscal
audits, and reviews grant-making processes. Mainstream,
Inc., manages nonprofit associations in Iowa, Kansas, Missouri,
and Nebraska.
Mainstream
consultants have diversified expertise in administration, program
management, training, research, and writing. Duration
of consultations can range from a few hours to as long as a few
years.
