Management support services are offered through fee-based contractual arrangements.
Program Support
Mainstream assists government agencies, foundations, or individual nonprofit organizations with the planning and initiation of new service programs through contractual arrangements. Support is offered during multiple phases of the new project: gathering information, researching program components, developing community support, program implementation, and outcome monitoring. Support can be offered during the request for proposal process through the coordination of proposal solicitation and review.
Self-Assessment
Local and state government agencies, individual nonprofits, and funders utilize Mainstream to assess achievement of program outcomes. Developing, administering, and compiling results from client surveys ; facilitating focus groups and informational meetings; and soliciting consumer input through interviews, online questionnaires. The preparation of reports summarizing the results of the assessment is provided.
Assistance in Becoming a Nonprofit Organization
Assistance with applications is offered including incorporation, preparation of by-laws, and requesting tax exempt determination. Mainstream assists individuals and groups seeking to start a new nonprofit organization by serving as resident agent during the formative stages, assuring compliance with annual reporting requirements. Mainstream can also serve as a fiscal sponsor by accepting contributions, dispersing funds and preparing related finacial reports on behalf of the applicant organization.

Technical Assistance
Technical Assistance provides a brief response to a question or a request for information regarding nonprofits that does not require extensive research. This free service is available to Non Profit Association members, nonmembers, and people interested in starting a nonprofit.
